This Spring, Lloyd Garrison School junior high CTS students had the opportunity to join Berwyn residents in the Berwyn Community Garden.
Students painted signs, planted potatoes, spread mulch, pulled weed, and planted raised garden beds.
"The garden looks a little brighter this morning! the sign adds a needed touch that the garden has been missing. We’ve had the delight of partnering with Lloyd Garrison School, and it has been wonderful having the junior high CTS class join us in the garden this spring. We will miss the students this summer but they will be back in September to bring in the harvest," reads a post on Facebook about the student's involvement.
